Have You Ever Used Your Own Report?!

This short opens with a question for anybody who builds reports: have you ever used your own, and does it support the decision the end user actually has to make. It is a question aimed at anybody who builds dashboards for other people without ever sitting in the seat of the person reading them.

Framelink Media edited it so the question comes first. There is no setup in front of it, the cut holds briefly afterwards to let a viewer answer it privately, and the captions are sized to read on a phone held at arm's length.

The short was prepared for vertical publication with the question placed in the opening frame, which is what makes it work for somebody who arrives partway through a scroll.

The finished short suits Power BI developers and analysts reviewing their own work, and sits within the channel's run of vertical pieces. It is short enough to send to a colleague, which is how most of the channel's vertical pieces travel.
