W Express at the branch counter
This is a branch portrait for W Express: a staff member at the counter with the company logo on the wall behind him. It is the photograph that has to look right in a network where every branch is meant to feel like the same company.
Framelink Media retouched it to the brand colour. There are two blues in this frame, the uniform and the mark on the wall, and both have to agree with each other and with the value the company holds as its own.
Indoor light makes that harder than it sounds. A counter lit by fluorescent tubes pulls colour in a direction the eye forgives and a screen does not, so the correction was made against the reference rather than against what the room looked like.
The skin tones were left where they were. Pushing the blue and dragging a face with it is the usual failure in work like this, and the only sign it has been done well is that nothing about the person looks adjusted.
