This is a vertical clip from a podcast recorded in a tyre workshop, with the shelves, the wheels and a car in the frame behind the microphone. The room is doing the introducing, which is why it was kept in shot rather than blurred out.

Framelink Media cut it as a clip rather than an excerpt. A good clip is a complete thought: it starts where the thought starts, not where the tape was rolling, and it ends before the next question rather than trailing into it.

The branded shirt and the workshop sit on opposite sides of the frame, so both are visible without either being centred, and the microphone stays in shot because a podcast clip that hides the microphone looks like a webcam.

The purple lighting in the room was kept rather than corrected away. It is how the shop looks, and neutralising it would have cost the one thing making this frame recognisable.
