5 beautiful places on Earth

This is the cover for a travel list video. The photograph is doing most of the work, which is normal for the category, so the design job was to give somebody a reason to stop on this one rather than the next one.

Framelink Media added a magnified circle over a detail in the landscape. It shows people swimming at a spot that is a few pixels wide in the full frame, and it turns a wide view into something with a thing to find in it.

The headline sits top left in two lines, each with a short yellow rule beneath it, in the part of the sky where nothing is happening. No box was needed, because there was already somewhere quiet for the words to go.

The water was graded toward green and the haze pulled back, so the islands separate from each other instead of running together into one shape at small sizes.
