Fast. Good. Cheap. Pick two
This is the cover for the Fast, Good, Cheap episode of a vertical series about working with clients. The presenter is cut out of his own footage and placed against the bookshelf he films in, with the trade-off stacked in two lines that finish the sentence for anybody who already knows the rule.
Framelink Media built it for the size it is actually seen at. The cut-out carries a white outline so the subject separates from a busy shelf, the headline sits in two boxes rather than one so the second line lands as the answer, and the weight of the type holds up when the whole thing is the width of a thumb.
The frame comes from the episode itself, so a viewer who taps through meets the same person in the same room rather than a posed picture that belongs to nothing.
It is one of a set cut to a single template, which is what makes the series recognisable on a profile grid before a single title has been read.
