Rebirth Island: overpowered
This is the cover for a Warzone video about a weapon build on Rebirth Island. Gaming covers have to survive a page full of other gaming covers, and the way this one does it is by making a single object the whole picture.
Framelink Media laid the weapon diagonally across the frame at a size that crosses the whole width, and set OVERPOWERED behind it so the word is broken by the object it describes. The two read as one image rather than as a caption on a screenshot.
The game logo sits in the top right where a viewer looks for it, and the channel mark sits in the bottom left, so the frame answers which game and whose channel without either question taking up room in the middle.
The map behind is faded and cooled down, because a screenshot at full strength competes with everything placed on top of it and turns a cover into noise.
