Indoor s’mores at REKR
This is a promo for one of the things on REKR's menu: an indoor s'mores board, with marshmallows, crackers and chocolate set around a small burner so guests toast their own at the table. REKR's caption sells it as an upgrade to dessert, and the piece shows why.
Framelink Media opened on the board being carried out, held up toward the camera by a member of staff. Arriving is the best angle a dish has, because it is the moment somebody at a table actually sees it.
The caption was set in a dark panel across the upper middle of the frame, clear of the board and clear of her face, and written as an invitation for the weekend rather than as a description of the food.
The warm light on the marshmallows was protected in the grade and the chequered floor left crisp underneath, so the frame reads as a place to go as much as a thing to order.
