Is dating men complicated?
This is a vertical street interview piece, and the question it asks is the first thing on screen. In an interview format the question is the hook, because the answer is the thing the viewer is being invited to stay for.
Framelink Media set it in two parts, the setup in white and the word that matters in a red box, so the frame still reads when only the red is taken in. A patterned dark wall was used as the ground because it holds type at any size without a panel behind it.
The caption at the foot of the frame runs a beat behind the speech rather than with it, which is what lets somebody arriving mid-scroll catch up without the words racing the audio.
The subject is framed to the right of centre with the microphone visible, so it reads as an interview rather than a piece to camera, and the two are different promises to a viewer.
