It's a problem

This is the cover for a clip from a finance interview. The headline is a quote rather than a summary, cut short at the point the sentence turns, so the cover carries the speaker's own words and stops before the conclusion.

Framelink Media set the quote in yellow inside quotation marks and left the three dots in place. Those dots are the whole device: they say the thought continues somewhere, and the only place to find it is the clip.

The speaker is keyed against a wall of market figures, close enough that his expression is readable at small sizes, which matters more than showing the room he was sitting in.

The numbers behind him were darkened and softened until they read as texture. Nobody is going to read a stock ticker on a thumbnail, so it was treated as a background rather than as information. What is left is a face, a quote and enough green and red to say which subject this belongs to.
